Jay Michael is the visionary who brought world-class hair artistry to Philadelphia’s Main Line area, and now to Center City. Jay’s experience spans over three decades, and within that time Jay has carved out a name for himself in the hair industry. He is known for his distinctive cuts and unbelievable attention to detail, creating individual looks that seamlessly fit into clients’ unique lifestyles. Personalized service is a philosophy that is shared among his staff of over 100 hair, beauty and spa professionals.

In 1985 he opened the doors to his Bala Cynwyd salon location (where a teenaged Sarah Keating was his client!) prior to moving into Ardmore’s Suburban Square, and then expanding to The Radnor Hotel and Center City’s The Phoenix. The partnership between Jay Michael and Sarah Keating has combined Michael’s talent as a stylist and educator with Keating’s marketing savvy, philanthropic mission and business acumen. Jay is lauded for his dedication to a continuum of employee training that focuses on the latest French haircutting techniques and cutting edge hair care solutions.
